In the area of Agriolefkes, just 2km away from Hania and 27km from Volos, in a quite mountainous area with altitude of around 1500m and lots of snow during the winter months is the Pelion Ski Center, one of the smallest and most known ski resorts of Greece. Founded in 1967 by the Greek Alpine Club of Volos it is the second oldest resort after Seli in Veroia. It is located within lush vegetation and has great views towards the Pagasetic Gulf and the Aegean Sea while the fact that many famous Pelion villages surround it makes it a favorite among its many visitors during winter months. The resort by itself is quite popular, attracting thousands of visitors every year, ski and snow lovers.

It has great building infrastructures of international standards with many amenities. The center has 5 lifts, three of which are aerial, two wired and six slopes with 7.5 km total length, one of which is for novice skiers and one being an endurance course with 5km length.

For beginners, a training school for ski and snowboard lessons is there along with special courses for young children. Finally, the resort has three parking areas, a café, a restaurant, an infirmary, rental shops and a shelter for 80 people.

At the Ski center operates also a beautiful chalet where you can rest in between your winter sport activities. There you will enjoy your drink or food in the warmth of the stone fireplace admiring the traditional architecture of the interior and the beautiful views from its wooden windows.

Various happenings and parties are being organized, so if you are lucky you might attend to one of these such as night skiing and many more.
